That is…. awesome. Is the shot on sticks? No movement? How often does her head blip into the light? And do you have (doubtful) a shot sans the light blip in there? You could layer the good shot on top of the bad shot in FCP if you do, otherwise, you can probably do some manoeuvering in Motion, or After Effects if you have it.

The whole interview has it I’m afraid… go figure. Not sure what you mean by “sticks”. She never moves her head into it (thankfully) and I do have Motion, I’m just not experienced enough at this point to use that program. I’m needing to have this thing in the can by the end of the week. I was hoping there was a magic fix that I just didn’t know about yet.

    Thank you!

Sticks are just a term for a tripod.

There really isn’t a magic fix unfortunately. You essentially have to create something to cover that dot by either cloning part of (the door?) whatever that is in the background, and putting it over the light dot. You can do the cloning in Photoshop and kick out a one layer file that only has the fix and pop it over the entire interview. If you do that, make sure there’s enough feathering on the edges so it doesn’t literally look like a bandaid over the light spot, heh.

    Thanks Nicole,

I was able to get it corrected using Photoshop. It was very time consuming but it’s done.

    Thanks again!
