Trapcode Particular: Layer Order Problem when trying to use Adjustment Layer and Obscuration Layer
Hi,
I’m stuck in a loop because I would like to use an adjustment layer (layer 4) to give my trapcode particular particles (layer 5) the look I want (see image #1). I also want my particles to be in front and behind a precomposed layer of two footballers (layer 6), which I set as the obscuration layer in trapcode particular.
The problem is that the adjustment layer also affects the footballers, which I don’t want. But bringing both the adjustment layer and the particles down below the footballers (image #2) is not an option, because then the particles are only behind the footballers’ layer. On the other hand, I cannot prevent the adjustment layer from working on all the layers below and applying the CC Glass effect directly to the Particular layer also doesn’t work.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem? I’m really stuck…
Thanks a lot!(Using After Effects CC 2014 on a Mac)
