trapcode particular 2 is…. 1.5?
Hey guys, recently I’ve seen some amazing videos using trapcode particular 2. Interested, I went onto the Red Giant website to download me a trial version to play around with. After installation and firing up after effects, it’s clear that it installed as there’s now that red “demo” watermark over my solid. However, when I look at my effects panel, it says that it’s trapcode particular vs 1.5 – which is my current version anyway, only with a watermark. plus I don’t see any noticeable difference with the menu and appears to have not had any effect whatsoever. what am I doing wrong? I know it’s only a demo version but shouldn’t it state that it’s still version 2.0? and also look noticeably different in the menu? Plus I don’t see any of their new presets that are displayed on their site. Just the old ones.
Would like to hear how I can get this to work, even if it’s a trial vs. Really keen to play around with some sweet new particles 🙂
