  • Trapcode Form: How to make particles follow path of a sprial

    Hey,

Im working on a comp, and I’m stuck. Using trapcode form, I created a moving sprial with particles spiraling away from camera. I wanted the particles/sprites to be arrows, and their points would follow the path of the spiral, but instead, the sprites are facing upwards the whole time.

I cannot find a way to fix this. Maybe Form is not the best tool to use for this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Have you finagled with the Rotation Layer Map? I imagine that has to help somehow. If not, then I would jump ship. Trapcode plugins are pretty awesome, but there really isn’t THAT much control over the individual particle like X Particles (C4D).

You could do this with Particular instead of Form. I think. I also might not be picturing your spiral concept very well though.
