Transposing video 60p > 24p Mac
Posted by Ian Lautsch on December 13, 2011 at 7:24 amDoes anyone know if there is a program on mac to do this besides Cinema Tools? It seems that Lion doesn’t like to run it; it keeps crashing out. Any ideas? Thanks!

December 13, 2011 at 8:20 pmFCX has ways to make the 60fps smooth slow motion 23.98 fps. Ask the folks in the FCX forum:

December 13, 2011 at 11:25 pmyou can use timewarp in ae on a mac to go 60p to 24p, or buy twixtor for fcp/ae.
here’s a timewarp 60p to 24p
drag 60fps to new comp button
precomp footage, timestretch precomp 80%
add timewarp 80%, vector 100, smooth 28, filter extreme,
new 24(23.976) fps comp, drop in timewarped comp, render 24p -

December 14, 2011 at 1:28 amAwesome thanks guys. There is a way to do it natively in FCPx. It’s pretty easy actually. Easier then using Cinema tools, which I’ve been doing for years!
