    Hello All-

What exactly is a transport stream? I am familar with elementary and program streams, however, transport streams are new to me. How are they different and what is their benefit?

Our client would like a transport streams at 25mbps to play on their IO Data Player.

From Apple’s Compressor 3, there is an option to make a multi-plexed transport stream (M2t) and I can set the averag mpbs to 25 as well.

What application do M2t’s generally play on?

    Thanks in advance
