Transparent backgrounds?
I know, I know, it’s an easy task on AAE, but I can’t seem to get it to work.
I followed the instructions on the second post of this thread: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/202/892220
However, I cannot get it to do what I want it to do. All I want is to be able to create an audio waveform (already know how to do that) with a transparent background and be able to move it to Sony Vegas to edit it from there.
I was able to do this some time ago, but I can’t figure out how to do it again. Whenever I move the rendered video to Vegas, it does NOT have a transparent background, instead having solid black.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

What codec did you select when you render? I don’t know Vegas, but do you have to set anything in that program to let it know you want to use an alpha channel?

As Johnny indicates, we need to know what your render settings and output module settings are. The best way to tell us is with screenshots of your render settings and output module settings (from the dialog boxes).

As everyone said, You need to export with RGB + Alpha to have transparency.
