For some reason my Motion won’t let me make a transparent background anymore.

I’ve set my background opacity to 0% in my project properties and set the background to be checkerboard in the preferences, but it still shows as a solid colour at 100%. When I render out the background is still there aswell.

Is there a file I can delete maybe to reset Motion back to factory default settings?

    Thanks.

Directly above the canvas window right just to the left of the “view” pulldown menu, there is another pulldown menu and you need to select transparent there. this is just fo viewing however. If you want a transparent back for a render, you must render in animation codec with the advanced settings set to millions+. This will retain your alpha information.
