    Hi. I’m creating a see-through globe for a client.
    Here’s what it needs to look like:

    Here’s what I have set up in C4D:
    I have 2 sphere in my scene. One sphere has the map/countries on it. The other sphere is the blue “globe”, where I have the transparency on to see through it so that the countries are visible on the back of the “globe”.

    As you can see, my colors are way off. I have a gradient on the luminance tab of the materials editor for my “globe” colors. When I turn the transparency on, so that you can see through the globe, it loses it’s vibrant colors.
    So how do you keep your colors, and have an object be transparent at the same time?

    Also, I’m trying to get the refraction/bend look of the transparent sphere as well. When I turn refraction on, in the transparency tab, all it does is make my sphere are pixelated and noisy.

    I appreciate any advice you have to offer.
