Humm. Another brainteaser: White glows on text in Motion projs does not apply the Alpha well in FCP. I find that there is a dark glow around gradients, almost as if the alpa is applied over a white to transparent black gradient in stead of streight white to transparent white. If I bring in a FCP image with the same type of transparent gradient, the white stays white. But that defeats the joy of embedded Motion seqs. Anyone out there has the same issue?

Motion outputs alpha channels as premultiplied with black. This can cause dark fringing if the alpha channel is not being interpreted correctly in the compositing app (such as if it is being interpreted as a straight alpha channel).
