    Hi,

I’m really stuck. I’m working on a PC with photoshop 6 and trying to take some images with transparent backgrounds into Microsoft Publisher 2003.
I have tried tiff, bmp, pdf, jpeg, pict, png, eps and giff through the help>export as transparent option but this always reverts to saving as a PSD file.

Then when i try to get it into publisher it asks me to convert the file, whatever i choose it often comes up with an error message or has a white background.
For some reason I cant even select transparent the colour tool now.

I have attempted to follow online advice on exporting from photoshop:
I have flattened the images into one layer and it retains a transparent background.
The export settings are greyed out
The save to web option is greyed out as well, i followed some advice about finding the plugin and it exist’s in the program files but isn’t listed in the photoshop help menu.

I dont know what to do…
