Transparency and Gradients….
So, I’ve got a question pertaining to gradients in the transparency channel of a glass material I created.
Earlier I created a simple colored material which used a gradient in the transparency so that the object (a rectangle) was blue on the left edge and completely transparent on the right edge.
So, how would I achieve this affect using a glass type material since it already utilizes the transparency channel. Basically, I want an elongated cube (textured with a glass material) to appear as though it disappears or fades to nothing from left to right.
I was able to get this with a blue material. However, not with the glass material I’ve made.
Any Ideas?
Thanks for the help as I get used to learning this program
