What are the ways to attain transparency in different areas of video and still imagery clips without using opacity when compositing them on different layers in PPro 1.5 ? In AE–I use transfer mode filters to allow some “see-through” among the layers (and am sure there’s much more sophisticated ways to do this there)–but I don’t know how to do this PPro. I’m assuming that one wd use the keying effect, but I don’t know how. Any suggestions or tutorials anyone can point me toward to composite with transparency? Thanks a lot-

There are only a couple of keys that would probably suit you. I suggest that you stay with After Effects. It is a much better compositor.
