    Transitions on masked clips causing background to temporarily ‘lighten’

    Hi there guys,

    I hope you can help!

    I have applied a shape mask to three pre-made text cards (.mxf files from a previous AVID project) and I’m trying to make the first one “Slide” in on top of an animated background (.mov)

    However, whilst the transition is in progress, the animated background is significantly brighter – does anyone know why this is and how to rectify please?
