  transitions jumping backwards?

  I have two clips; one segues into the other with a bit of a ‘jerk’ (some would say me!) and I’m trying to place either a cross fade or a non additive dissolve effect in.

  After rendering and playback I notice the clip transitions to the other one, nicely but seemingly then shows 1 frame of the clip before.

  The two clips have nothing in common, btw.
