Transitions in Adobe Premire Pro
Im trying to access the settings for the transitions in APP but when I click on the transitition in the timeline it brings up the Effects Control Screen but with the A and the B of the transition but it doesnt show any of the options to change the transition
Basically I want my clip to start with a transition that fades FROM BLACK to the clip…then FADES to BLACK again…
I chose the Cross Dissolve which works fine but now I want to reverse that Cross Dissolve and put THAT transition infrom of my next clip so that it flows.I’ve looked around and into the adobe site but I havent seen anything that says I need to activate something to get the options for the video can someone help me

Have you tried “Dip to Black”?
HAve you tried just using single ended transitions? Apply a dissolve to the end of a clip and a new one to the beginning of the next.
