Posted by Graeme Hague on July 14, 2005 at 7:37 am

Hi everyone, I’m putting together a TVC for someone and in the process of shuffling around clips, etc, some of the effects and transitions envelopes are hidden on the timeline by the clips themselves. I can’t seem to bring them to the front. However, the red line denoting that they’re there is visible. Any help on offer?

    Thanks, Graeme.

You may find it easier to see the detail if you zoom in to the area concerned. Drawing a marquee with the zoom tool is one way of doing this.

You probably need to expand the track(vertically, using the appropriate arrow, on the left of the timeline window, next to each track), so it shows the transitions in the upper half, as well as the clips.

My wife would call my efforts a “boys look”, which is apparently not very efficient. Thanks again.
