    Transition Recommendations

    Hi –

    I’ve started using Premiere more than Vegas and am enjoying it, especially the output engine – my renders have never looked better.

    One place where Vegas outmatches Premiere seem to be the transitions. I am comparing the stock versions; Vegas seems to have “cooler looking” transitions like flashes, blurs, etc. So, what 3rd-party bundles do you use for some cool transitions with Premiere?

    By “flashes” I assume you mean a ‘film gate flash’ type of transition. In Premiere this is easily done with a ‘Dip-to-White’ transition, and set the transition duration to about 8 frames or so. Not an exact ‘film gate flash’, but close, and a lot easier. A truer version may be done in AE.

    I have just started using PP for Mac and it seems really hard to find 3rd transitions – has anyone had any luck??

    Help!
