Transition levels jump
Edge wipe transitions are brighter than the two graphics I’m transitioning between. They are both keyed over moving BG. I realize AfterFX can do this no problem, but does anyone know a work-around in Final Cut Pro?

Do you have Sequence > Render > Full engaged?

Yes, sequence/render/full is turned on. And yes, I’m viewing on computer monitor as well as NTSC monitor. The 2 graphics I’m wiping between are TGAs with alpha channels. The BG is a motion graphic. I had this problem before. I was able to nest the graphics to the BG (a solid white) and do the transitions. The key here is Final Cut’s ability to do a key and a wipe simultaneously. Thanks.
