Good Day Cows, Is there a way to tell FCP to add a transition to both the video & audio tracks in a time line, instead of having to do them seprately? In AVID you select the tracks wanted and add transition to all tracks. I have a simple seq, with 1 Vid. & 2 Aud. tracks and i select the edit and then add the Aud transition reselect and add the Vide transition. I would like to do this in one step. Thanks in advence.

If you right-click on the edit and add the transition with makes both video and audio transitions. If you use the canvas edit overlay it will make both video and audio transitions. Or press Cmd-T followed by Cmd-Opt-T.

    All the best,

    Tom

Thank you Tom. The guys over in the the big boy forum did not want to answer my simple question. I will put this to use right away. I am finding the transition from avid to be full of little gotchas and wishes. Thanks again for your help.
