I’m looking for an effect that mimics the old style TV from the 60s that had a glowing circle of light in the middle of the screen on power off. Anyone seen something like this?

Otherwise I’d take any transition that mimics a power off, loss of power, someone pulled the plug, et al.

    If you have After Effects:

I used it for a show and it worked well.

    Tom,

I did this effect last month right in the timeline with a short clip of TV static and animating the crops on a white matte. It worked quite well and took about 10 minutes to build. If I had your email I could send you a screen grab.

    Have a wonderful day.
