I thought I had this figured out a long time ago, but I’ve hit a wall. I have 2 green screen layers that have been keyed with Keylight. How do I create a dissolve between them without seeing the background? Using opacity shows the background. I’ve tried several options including Effect – Channel – Blend. Thanks for any advice you can send my way.

try pre-comping each layer and then the opacity transition on these layers

Thanks Antony. Pre-comping still didn’t work with animating opacity, but I was able to use Channel – Blend. It wouldn’t work before because choosing the layer in Blend was using the layer without Keylight. The pre-comp fixed that. Thanks!
