Is there a place in the After Effects interface where I can type in the size and the placement (along the X, Y, Z) axis of my items (solids, images, etc?) like there is in Illustrator? Please see below:

Hit the little arrow next to the layer to get to the Transform attributes. The layer must be 3D to access the Z data.

And, as far as the size goes, that’s specified in the solid’s settings when you create it. You can go back in and change the solid’s settings at any time. This page talks about creating and modifying solids.

And what about masks? I really want a specific dimension and position…

    Thanks!

There is no option for that. What are you trying to do more specifically? It might help us find a workaround for your issue.

    Hi! Thanks for your answer.

I made a rectangle, but after I did it, I decided to change it’s size to something very specific (750 x 250 px):

But now, the properties say that my rectangle is 116.8 x 130.9%!

Is there a way to put it back to 100% but keep the pixel size I want?

    Thanks!

I found what I was looking for.

    Thanks!
