transform animation jitter….please help!!
Hi Guys,
When animating simple masked shapes/or even imported illustrator files in after affects 6.5 pro, and on viewing the resultant animation closely/carefully :), the ram preview shows jittery edges aroung the shapes, the motion is not silky smooth, ease keyframes, motion blur do reduce this effect, but does not completly eliminate it!!
I find that position, and rotation animations on vector shapes against contasting backgrounds bring out this probelem very clearly…?but in some cases , comps with low contrast and blurred edges do show this slight
jitter on the edges too, but I need to watch the animation carefully?Finally I find that medium paced transform animations are the most affected, very fast moves or very slow moves seem not to show this probelem?!!
please advise , am i doing something wrong in my animations, or have I missed some important preference/setting in ae?
my system spec.pentium 3GHz\2GB Ram …

Have you activated Continuously rasterize/Collapse Transformations switch on vector content?

Yes…but What I really meant was animating shapes with relatively sharp edges…

Did you solve this problem? I am having the same problem but with bitmaps!

I get this some times to and its very enoying. Not like anybody normal would notice but you can se it clearly.
