Hello all, I’ve been trying to get an answer to this question for a few months now without any luck so maybe you smart folks here can help me.

Ok. I have spend many years creating a library of textures that i was able to transfer using the .lib format whenever i updated cinema 4d, this goes back to R18. I am now on C4D 2023 and I cant figure out how to transfer my textures to appear in 2023. I tried the database thing but its not working Can someone help me with this issue?

    Hello Joe,

The extension of your library should be *.lib4d. You should be able to import it simply in c4D 2023 by selecting the import Legacy library *.lib4d option from the create menu on the asset browser panel.

    * = name of your library (eg. textures.lib4d).

See the attached image for reference.
