transferring Red/ Raw Codec setting between EDLS within the same Project
So im working on Chinese New Year Movie in Hong Kong, Da Vinci resolve has been good to work on however Memory issue’s with their system and a fresh supply of “locked” reels have been messing up my work flow. The movie was shot on a Red and the Crew are new to digital filming.
This has resulted in about 7 terabytes of footage as well as Color temperature problems, as in they almost never got changed on or between locations. whilst this turns a color grader into more of a corrector the new reels edl’s have been brought in, however the Red Codec Settings have not been transferred between edl’s even though they are in the same project…? does anyone know how to fix this problem, color trace only copies the grade not the red codec settings and will mean i will be close to grading this movie twice.
Any help one this would be greatly appreciated

i asked to BMD to add to color trace the ability to copy the RED setting as well ,
so far ye only way to copy R#D setting is trough the site store or memory banks
