transferring-editing values
HI, its my first time in this forum…
I’m having trouble with a thing i hope you guys can help me with….
I’m making an animation movie for the finishing year of uni, and the frame sequences are at res1920*1080 (i’m shooting in a digital cam, so iwm keeping the HD res for the future…)the actual film will be in pal format, to be viewed in the original 16/9 ratio.
My computer is pretty good, but it was having terrible time with the big format, so i scaled them in advande, and im editing them in the pal configuration at premiere.
And for my question… is it a possibility of exporting the whole ammount of editing information(trims, dissolves and so) to another project (the large resolution one),or of changing the existing little project’s resolution in the end? to simplify,cause even i did’t understand so well:i need to export all the editing i’ve done to a project of the same footage, but with different frame size.OOOF,that was hard…

Most of the problem can be solved by using the 1920X1080 frames and use the Motion effect to scale them down.
That way you can import the PAL project into a HD project later and just reset the scaling back to 100%.
But if you scale the pics in Photoshop, you will need to relink to the original material instead of just rescaling. It can be done by unlinking and relinking. Or, just move the pics to a different directory so you will be asked where they are. Then just tell the program where the full size shots are. Make sure to use the same names or relinking manually will be necessary.
