transferring compressed FCP timeline with TC burn-in
I’m new to P2. I want to re-name logged and transferred P2 clips in the FCP browser, drag them into a timeline, apply a timecode filter, render, then create a compressed version of this for my producer.
I have Compressor and Sorenson Squeeze at my disposal. This compressed version can be a SD DVD — the quality doesn’t matter at all. It’s strictly for my producer to be able to view the P2 material.
For what it’s worth, I have FCP 6 and an AJA IOHD. I’m working in 1080i using a Panasonic 5 card reader.
Storage is Maxx Digital 1.2 TB raid.Thanks so much.
