Transferring a project in smallest file size
I am looking to be able to transfer a video project over the internet and need to make the source file smaller. I thought of one idea, to have photographer put the sequence together on a timeline(whole clips/uncut) then export as one .mov file with h264 encoding.
Then separate the clips back to individual mov source files on the editing systems.
Is there some other workflow to compress file sizes to send online? -

Convert all the footage to a smaller size (960×540 for instance) with heavy compression, have him/her send you the footage, you edit it and send back a project file, then connect it to the original HD files and paste the cut into an HD timeline.
Or FedEx a hard drive.
