Transfering old VHS footage
Hi ,
Im transfering VHS footage about 15 yeard old for a friend of mine. I noticed as I started working on it in Vegas that about a 15-20 sec. clip of the footage jumps a bit, and the color is pretty bad.
1- is the an easy non-time consuming way to help smooth out the jumpiness?
2- what would be the best way to help restore the color even minimally. Or is it a lost cause?
I’m not looking to make it perfect just help it out a bit.

Try playing it back on a different VHS machine or through a time base corrector.
