Transfering files from XDCam HD to Final Cut
Hello, Please help with this. How do I import XDCam HD files from a hard drive, to Final Cut Pro Studio on a Mac.
The files have been copied from original XDCam discs to the hard drive on a Mac. Do I need some softwhere to read/transfer the files? If so what? Thank you for your help! Rob. -

Use log and transfer. You can bring in XDCAM natively through that tool. I don’t quite recall if you can transcode upon transfer. I haven’t used XDCAM in FCP in a little while. You may also need to download the XDCAM log and transfer from the Sony site. The log and transfer plugin.
