    Hello everyone,
I have just purchased a new Mac Pro 8-core along with a G/Speed pro es hard drive raid system. I am wondering what is the best way to transfer all my final cut project files and project media over to my new system. Right now I am using 2 G-Tech 1 tb external firewire hard drives to store my projects media. Pictures, music, livetype projects, etc. They both have project media on them. The final cut project files are located on my desktop on my local hard drive. Should I use media manager to do this. I am hoping to keep the media linked in the transfer, so I am not spending so much time relinking each project.
    Thanks,
    Brent

Yes, if you use media manager the copies will link to the new project files created by them if that’s what you’re asking.
