Hello, I have Audio Track A4 segmented into multiple parts with gaps in between. I’m trying to transfer those edits (segments & gaps) to Audio Track A1, A2, A3 as well as Video Track V1 so that I can align them all. After that, I intend to close the gaps. I currently have a full unsegmented (mostly) audio & video except for track Audio A4. How can I get around this without doing it manually through key shortcuts?

Hi, I am not sure if I understood correctly. Are all these audio segments and video part of a multicam-style recording? So can you try to make a multicam by selecting these segments in the bin?

Hello, It’s not part of multicam. I have my video untouched and my audio cut up into bits. I want to cut the video the same way the audio is cut without having to go through each cut manually.

You can select your video on the timeline, right-click, and choose Scene Edit Detection to cut it automatically on edit points.

I meant I have the audio cut up with gaps but the video isn’t. So here, for example, I want to cut A1, A2, A3 as well as V1 exactly like A5 without doing it manually. I also have the same issue in other projects for various reasons. A5 is not part of multi camera sequence.

Well, it’s, not all automatic, but the fastest without any extra plugins or software. You can transcribe the text, filter all pauses, and delete them all in one go.

Oh, unfortunately I can’t transcribe the text because the language is foregin & doesn’t apply to Premiere’s transcribe feature.

Just a guess here, even if it is a language Premiere Pro doesn’t understand; you need to identify audio gaps, so it should be able to identify the gaps no matter what language it is. You should give it a chance to try.

If that does not work there are paid options, like gling.ai, timebolt.io, autocut etc.
