Is there a program out there that would do “one click’ transfer of all my files from one mac to another.
I am getting rid of a dual 867 and need to get everything onto a dual2gig.

    thanks

It’s built in to OS X. It’s called the Migration Assistant and you can find it in your Applications > Utilities folder.

    Thanks,
I am still using Panther and it doesn’t appear to have the Migration assistant.
    I will upgrade to Tiger

Will it transfer any of my Applications or just data?

Yes, upgrade to Tiger on the new machine. It will transfer your users, applications, network & computer settings, and user data (files). Its very easy to use.
