  Transfer/Capture Problems!

  Hi All,

  I realize this isn’t really the forum for this question, but I know there’s alot of experienced editors who read these forums, and I thought maybe just maybe they might be able to help… so here it goes.

  I’ve successfully transferred/captured 2 tapes from the same shoot to FCP, and I am on my last tape from the shoot. When I attempt to playback the tape, it runs timecode for 20 seconds or so then gives me the error on the deck of E-01, then after about 5-10 seconds the error changes to E-00.

  The timecode continues to run in the log/capture screen of FCP, but the screen continues to stay black and we get no playback.

  I’m running FCS 2, with all the latest updates. The deck is the AJ-HD1200A.

  The tapes are Fujifilm DVCPro, 126 L, DP 121, and Medium sized tapes.

  If anyone knows what these errors mean or anyway to fix it that would be a HUGE help!!
