Transfer HDMI to iMac
How would I transfer HD1080i from Sony FX7 into my iMac. Should files be “.mov” or should they be “ProRes”? -KS

Choose the HDV 1080i60 Easy Setup, and capture as HDV. OR, use this trick to capture as ProRes:

YOu can only capture HDMI to the iMac if you have an iMac with Thunderbolt, and a video IO device from AJA, Blackmagic or Matrox.
