Transfer HD as offline
I have shot HD footage which I now want to transfer to Final Cut Pro. I have 50 1 hour HD tapes. That will take a lot of storage even for off-lining. How can I reduce either the size or the resolution etc etc to make smaller files so that I can offline all the 50 tapes. Once I have reduced the size to my final 2 hours I should be able to on-line the footage. Kindly help. Thanks

What format did you shoot? Do you have a capture card? How much storage do you have?
