Transcription Recommend
Hi All-
I’m looking at getting ether the M-Audio microtrack or the H2 Zoom for use as a transcription recorder in my bag and was wondering if one was better than the other, or if there is something else I should look at. It’s been A WHILE since I needed something and the last thing I used was cassette! lol.

Hi Dave,
I have heard nothing but good things about the Zoom. I went to NAB a few months ago and all the people that have used it raved about it. Haven’t used /heard it myself, but the people who were recommending it are real pros.

In regard to the Zoom…I’m wondering about the vague reference to timecode; does it generate timecode, or is the idea that you send TC into channel 2 from a camera or HDD?
