    Hi,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here at Creative Cow but I’m really stuck and I’m hoping someone can help.

I have a movie that is being screened at the Australian Film Festival in a couple of weeks and they’re using digital projection in their cinema.

They have asked the movie to be encoded as an MPEG2-PS (Program Stream) at 1920 x 1080 HD resolution that is MFX wrapped.

Just when you think your on top of things as an editor, along comes something that completely stumps you. Well, me, anyway…

The movie is in a 1080p Uncompressed 10bit Quicktime file. I’m running a Mac with Final Cut studio 2 but can upgrade to 3 if necessary.

Does anyone know how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I’m not aware of anything on the Mac that can do MFX.

Damn it!!! I had a feeling that may be the case…

I can install a copy of windows if that’s the only way. Do you know what to do in that case?

By the way, I love your signature… lol 🙂
