    Hi everyone,
Recently I bought a Kodak Zi10, one of those small pocket camera’s that can shoot HD.

On this forum I read something about having to transcode the videos before editting them:

The point is that the above post i about the Zi8, the predecssor of the Zi10. While the Zi8 output the videos as .mov, the Zi10 outputs them as .mp4. Do I still need transcode them to use them in Premiere Pro and if yes, what would be the best way to do this?

Premiere cs5.5 will have no trouble with those files.

Thank you for your answer 🙂 Would CS 4 or 5 have any problems with them?
