  Transcoding Issue

  Using BM Intensity Pro to provide video out, I find that clips recorded on a Samurai to either ProRes 422LT or 422HQ playback without dropping frames when ‘High Quality’ is set in FCP playback preferences. However, AVCHD or XDCAM EX clips that have been optimised by FCP will only play back if ‘Better Performance’ is selected. Record format is 1920 x 1080 50i.

  Has anyone else noticed this?
