  Transcoding C300 .mxf files to ProRes using AME

  Hi all,

  Although Premiere can work with C300 .mxf files natively, I’d like to transcode everything to ProRes anyway. I thought I had copied the entire card structure over, but when I attempt to drag a file (or files) into AME to transcode, it tells me that it “cannot read from the source.” Is this indicating that I didn’t copy over the entire card structure, and therefore it won’t let me transcode? Does anybody have a workaround to convert these .mxf files to ProRes?
