  Transcoding and transfer issues

  I work with Encore along with AVID Express Pro HD. I am having problems exporting and “sending to” Encore using a quick time reference and/or AVI. When I try to send the quick time reference to Encore, Encore says that the Frame rate has to be between 24 and 29.97fps. When I try to export an AVI file, Encore tells me that the resolution has to be at least 720X480. Resolution and Frame rates I understand. What I’m not understanding I what is happening when I transfer. Am I loosing frame rates? Is that even possible? Is this something that needs to be addressed in AVID or Encore? Because this does not happen on all of my projects. Could someone help me out.
