    Hi,

I have a sequence in Premiere Pro that i want to transcode to Prores before sending it to Resolve.

In Final cut i would use the Media manager, in Media Composer i would right click and transcode the sequane and in premiere i would….?

Use the PROJECT MANAGER. In the PROJECT menu.

You must have some Final Cut studio component for this to happen. FCP, or Compressor, or Motion. Or I think the ProRes codec is downloadable from the App Store.

Yep. No trans-coding options. Only duplicating media.

But that means you have all your used clips in a folder – which you can then batch encode through an external encoder like Compressor / Clip Wrap if you’re wanting to go MTS to MOV. Re-Link and you’re good to go.

Anyone found any internal PP solution yet?
