I would use the Avid DNxHD QuickTime codec. You can download it from the Avid web site for free and so can the FCP user. More importantly, Avid DNxHD does not suffer from any gamma or color shift when moving between PC and Mac so you will get exactly on the Mac what you intended on the PC.
