  • TRAINING CLASSES??? Any advice?

Posted by Brian Pitt on August 4, 2006 at 5:20 pm

I am looking for some training classes for the Final Cut Studio. I have been using all of the FCP software for about a year now with my current job. I work for a company that has always outsourced our video work, but we are now taking it on in-house.

The Art Director that I work for wants to send me off to some classes, so that I can effectively use all of the FCP programs to their fullest capacities. Fortunately for me, cost and location really aren’t an issue.

I know the basics of each of the programs in the Studio, but I know that there is more that there is still much to learn. If anyone has attended workshops that they would recommend to someone who isn’t a beginner, I would love to hear your feedback!!!

The best trainers and facilities are in LA. I recommend Video Symphony and Moviola if you want instructors that are also gurus.

Have you moved to LA Kevin? There are a lot of excellent trainers all over the country, the Bay area, NYC, Philadelphia, DC, and probably lots of places in between.

    All the best,

    Tom

Then I’d start looking for some classes in Prague.

Or maybe your a tropics kind of person , find some FCP Studio classes that take place in the Caribbean…on the beach.

    LOL!

    Jeremy, excellent.

I was going to mention my upcoming seminar in the Antartic, “FCP -101”
