    Hello!

I Try to remove some train noise from one of my clips… The noise is pretty constant, but I can`t figure out how to remove it. Earlier I used noise reduction, but it`s not an option in Vegas 5 d. Hope you can help me

If you had noise reduction before, you should still have noise reduction now. It is a separate add-on product that is shared among the Sony apps. It is NOT a “part” of Vegas.

That`s strange. Anyway, I don`t have the noise reduction now, so I need to find another way to solve the problem…. Or Is it best to buy the noise reduction plug in?

Hey Morten, what about removing the audio track all together, and replacing it with an audio sample of a train? Then you could pan it to one side and then to the other, to simulate movement. Unless there is dialogue in your shot, then you will need noise reduction. There are some free plugins out there, https://www.download.com/Noise-Reduction/3000-2169_4-10228837.html or https://www.voxengo.com/product/redunoise/ as well as the expensive ones by Waves. You can try them for free for a while. Long enough to get your project finished. SoundForge also has a good noise reduction plugin. Either way, best of luck with it.
