I have a clients video footage from her friends camera: the footage is in .mpg and .moff format files, hundreds of them. They don’t work in FCP so I used stream clip a couple of times, now the audio and video look good in FCP. The problem is with exporting to DV tape and inn DVD studio Pro. Both show the footage with trailing images whenever a person is moving. Any suggestions before I give up on this project? I’m using FCP 5/0/4 G5

No, I didn’t use ProRes but I converted it under demux to M2V and AIFF. Would Pro Res do it? I have no idea what camera or format this was shot in. Thanks for your help.

    Thanks, Lorelei

Is ProRes a program or format? I don’t see it as an option in Streamclip.

    Thanks, Lorelei

My project is in FCP. I can’t see where ProRes is. Do you know where I can find it?

    Thanks, Lorelei
