Tracks/Workstation disappeared? (Screencap)
With Vegas 8.0, I was rendering a video with the “full” preview viewable, so I had extended the size of the preview “window” to the entire screen.
When it was done rendering, suddenly the area where you edit all the tracks [on the bottom for 8.0] was gone, and only the explorer, and the preview windows were there.

How do I get it back to normal?

You can also try hitting F11 which will hide/unhide the dock area revealing just the tracks.
