tracks won’t budge
Hi,
I received a FCP project from another production company, and the audio tracks are “cemented” on the timeline.
It’s hard to explain, so I’ll post a picture:
As you can see, I can’t make more space for the video tracks, but there is loads of space underneath…
I need to eliminate the dark border around tracks 1&2 – how to do that?Thank you,

This looks like a nested sequence to me. What happens when you double click on either audio or video?

What you’re encountering is called a ‘protected area’. when you have tons of video/audio tracks, it allows you to protect tracks (starting with V1 or/and a1) to keep them visible while working on, say, v20.
Grab the ‘thumb’ and pull it upward to remove.
